Production Supervisor – 3rd Shift

Responsibilities:   

  • Ensure all employees adhere to safety guidelines and company policies
  • Oversee the execution of the daily production schedule while meeting production goals for operator efficiency, machine uptime and discrepant material
  • Coordinate shift performance across multiple departments including production, maintenance, processing, automation, quality and materials
  • Prioritize daily work assignments based on production schedule and machine availability
  • Monitor equipment cycle time and make adjustments as necessary to stay within standard operating parameters
  • Perform in-process inspection checks to verify process repeatability
  • Meet with other shift supervisors to discuss production issues
  • Hold daily communication and safety meetings with shift employees. Initiate disciplinary action when warranted
  • Improve shift performance through employee training, planning and the reallocation of available resources


Qualifications:

  • 5 or more years of experience, preferably in injection molding/epoxy based systems
  • Well-organized and self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency
  • High comfort level with MS Office Suite
  • Problem solving and analytical skills
  • Must be able to work well in a team environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both management and shop floor personnel to understand assignments and to provide process-related feedback
